EVENTS

In compliance with the Bi-laws of Committee, we do organize the following events :

• Executive Body Meeting –Every Month in the office

• GBM-General Body Meeting -Half Yearly

• AGM- Annual General Body meeting  

• Frequent Visits to different Places to Identify the authentic needs in society and try to fulfill those requirements such as Ration, Medicine, Blankets, Clothes, School Dress, Books, stationary, or any other kind of help.

AGM:  On dated 26-December 2021, the First Annual General Meeting of Vasundhara Jan Seva Samiti was organized at Crystal Banquet Hall, Sector 16, Vasundhara.

After the Welcome and Introduction session, the proceedings of the General Assembly (GBM) held on 20-February 2021 were read out (Minutes) which included the following points –

1. To increase lifetime membership amount from 01 March 2021 from 1100/ to Rs 2100/-.

2. To increase the annual subscription amount from 01 March 2021 from Rs 200/  to Rs.500/-.

3. 10,000/- Rs. will remain with the treasurer, the remaining amount should be deposited in the bank.

4. Most of the donation amount coming every month should be donated to needy people and the rest should be deposited in the bank.

The above resolutions were unanimously agreed upon and passed.

Also during the meeting, in line with the purpose of the Committee mentioned in the Constitution ( Bi-Laws) of the Committee, it was discussed that for the betterment of Senior Citizens, a “Varishtha Nagrik Seva Ashram”  (Old Age Home) should be made and operated.

All the members came up with their suggestions and after deliberation,  it was decided that a separate fund should be created for making “Varishtha Nagrik Seva Ashram”  and also a separate receipt book to be printed for this work. Whomever donor wants voluntarily to contribute his support for this particular work, it should be deposited in that fund, so that in the span of the next two-three years, Committee members can be able to move ahead towards this goal of “Varishtha Nagrik Seva Ashram”

The brochure of the committee was also released in the meeting,  in which the report of the work done by the committee has been published.

The following suggestions were also given by the committee members present in the meeting:-

1. Registration of Committee with the provision of ITR relaxation under Clause “80g”

2. To Increase the number of lifetime members.

3. If anyone wants to donate old/used clothes, utensils, books, etc. then Committee members should organize for the distribution of the same among the poor and needy people.

 These suggestions were also accepted unanimously.
